Reputed financial service organization is seeking an accountant. Job duties include managing the records of all sales, expenses, financial transactions, cash flow records, bank deposits, VAT filings, and corporate tax activities.Accountant will also be required to perform internal audits, and coordinate statutory audits. Preparation of financial documents including regular performance statements and financial reports will be required.Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, preparing monthly payroll, bank reconciliation, calculating tax payments and returns, etc.Will be required to regularly provide accurate information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the business, and prepare monthly and quarterly management reports reflecting the state of the business.Accountant should also be familiar with IFRS standards and reporting procedures.Accountant should be able to create the following:1-Balance sheet2-Cash Flow statement 3- P&L4-Trial balance5-VAT returns6-Bank reconciliations Key Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field• Knowledge of accounting principles.• Relevant certification (e.g., CA/CMA/CFA) will be preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, or audit experience.• Familiarity with UAE accounting and tax regulations, and VAT filingprocedures.• Proficiency in information systems, accounting software and Microsoft Office.* Usage of ERP system like Tally• Fluency in English and Hindi/Urdu is required.
