Barista

The Connoisseur Cafe is hiring! We are looking for Baristas to join our team. Ideal candidates should have a positive attitude, who are committed and enjoys working in the customer service industry. JOB DESCRIPTION:- Greet and interact with customers friendly and professionally- Memorize drink recipes and seasonal offerings – Prepares and serves hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with speed, quality and consistency – Prepares and serves food items such as bakery items, crepes, waffles, and ice cream with speed, quality, and consistency- Maintain and operates blenders, espresso machine and other equipment – Possible lifting of up to 25kg- Cleaning counter, machines, utensils and seating areas – Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers- Ordering (upon approval), receiving and distributing stock supplies SKILLS- good communication skills (English) – Basic math skills- Highly organized – Computer proficient – Self motivated- Adaptive and creative- Friendly – Strong work ethic- Excellent customer service – Ability to multitaskREQUIREMENTS – at least Highschool graduate- Must have prior Barista experience- Must be 20 years or older – Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends and holidays
