Building Management Systems Engineer

Job Description and Responsibilities   – Installing DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers Low voltage wiring   – Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning BMS & HVAC systems and electronics   – DDC Ladder-Logic style programming   – Reading and understanding mechanical plans and wiring diagrams   – Coordinating work with other trades (i.e.: electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers)   – Documenting work and procedures   – Properly addressing TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications   – Analyzing and correcting communication issues   – Work according to project timelines and required processes   – Work on construction sites and follow required safety measures.   – Works on basic HVAC network systems, including fiber optic networks and building management   communication network shooting.   – Performs basic electrical instillation;   – Requires to readily use temperature and relative humidity meters, data loggers, electrical volt and amp meters.   – Works closely with HVAC and plumbing field technicians to facilitate repairs and maintenance of HVAC and   plumbing equipment;   – Performs minor AC and plumbing mechanical repairs;   – Assists other Maintenance team member when required   – Assist with painting and upkeep of HVAC and plumbing equipment.Qualifications & Education Requirements   – Shall have completed a full secondary education and hold degree in electronics instrumentation from a   recognized technical institute.   – Shall have 7 years’ practical experience in operation, maintaining and repairing a central control monitoring   system (Johnson Controls “METASYSY” which includes microprocessor, control and monitoring panels,   transmission signal lines and peripheral remote electronic/ electrical instrument.   – Shall have experience in programming the system minicomputer.   – Must be fluent in English and probably fluent in Arabic and proficient in written English for manning the   Contractors Service Desk. Skills & Special Requirements          Shall have 7 years’ practical experience in operation, maintaining and repairing a central control   monitoring system (Johnson Controls “METASYSY” which includes microprocessor, control and monitoring   panels, transmission signal lines and peripheral remote electronic/ electrical instrument.   -Shall have experience in programming the system minicomputer.   -Must be fluent in English and probably fluent in Arabic and proficient in written English for manning the   Contractors Service Desk.
