Responsibilities and Accountabilities:• Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections• Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels• Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships• Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies• Preparing financial projections and sales targets• Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings• Producing reports for management• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities• Lead and oversee all proactive business development activities in support of Nesma United Industries Divisions• Lead the pre-qualification process with new customers• Identify and channel commercial leads to Nesma United Industries divisions• Oversee the provision of support to all Nesma United Industries divisions in the preparation of bids as needed• Ensure adequate inter-divisional coordination for bids involving more than one division• Ensure the central record-keeping of all commercial enquiries received at Nesma United Industries, and the maintenance of a commercial development database for the company (leads, enquiries, etc.)• Monitor and report on the sales pipeline• Support divisions in post-bidding sales activities (negotiations, etc.), and monitors customer satisfaction levels• Play a lead role in establishing and implementing Nesma United Industries’s marketing strategy• Successfully manage the execution of marketing projects (e.g. market research, satisfaction surveys, external communication campaigns, etc.), draws key strategic information, and present reports for the Business Ventures Division Manager• Manage core marketing and communications activities (e.g. newsletter, development, and update of website content)• Manage Nesma United Industries Business Development Department according to budgetary and other non-financial targets• Develop and institutionalize Nesma United Industries business development and marketing data, know-how, and capabilities• Identify and track business development and marketing KPIs, and devises plans and initiatives for improvementPosition Requirements – Education, Experience & Competencies:• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration• Minimum 8-10 year’s experience in Sales, Marketing & Business Development• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field• At least 10 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role• Experience in sales, marketing or related field• Strong communication skills • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
