Cashier

Description:We are looking for a hard-working, high-energy cashier to join our company. You’ll be responsible for facilitating money transactions for customers by using a cash register. You will ring up sales by accepting credit, debit, cheques, or cash. Cashiers handle large amounts of money each day, so you will also be expected to act with honesty and integrity, and must possess excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of our products.Cashier Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Greeting customers in a positive manner and helping them find specific items2.Wrapping, bagging, or boxing merchandise for customers3.Accepting payment by credit, debit, voucher, cheque, or cash4.Calculating and giving correct change to the customer5.Issuing receipts and redeeming food stamps and coupons6.Resolving customer complaints and rectifying price discrepancies7.Handling exchanges, refunds, credits, or rain checksEntering purchases into the cash register to calculate the purchase price8.Good at office software 9.Closes all open invoices.10.Works with department manager to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in price.11.Performs other duties as assigned.Cashier Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferredBeing able to do basic mathematics, and handle and count cashBeing able to accommodate various shifts on short noticeKnowing how to handle unreasonable or difficult customersBeing an effective and positive communicator with customersGood english speaking and writing skills Apply on dubizzle and send your CV please if you are interested
