Role SummaryTo strengthen operations & maintenance within the Water Transmission, Storage & Distribution (WTS&D) Department, there is a requirement for a Water Networks Data Analyst to join the Operations and Maintenance Team to provide technical assistance and expertise with reference to the operations, repair and maintenance of the water network. The Water Networks Data Analyst will join a diverse technical team that promotes a collaborative, quality and results-oriented approach to providing customers with a continuous supply of high-quality water.This key role will help ensure that NEOM Water Standards are satisfied during the operation and maintenance of water network assets. The successful candidate will be required to work both in office and to visit the field occasionally to operational sites. The role will involve regular network operational meetings and the candidate will be required to provide reporting and analysis of key network events and other network operational data.The role will work closely with field operation teams to carry out operational activities based on data analysis and measuring key O&M activities against operational targets.The applicant must have the ability to forge strong working relationships with third parties (including but not limited to other NEOM sectors & departments, contractors and consultants).Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities Reviewing pressure and flow data and providing analysis and key statistics for reporting and operational activities Reviewing water quality data and providing analysis and key statistics for reporting and operational activities Review and analysis of customer meter consumption volumes and usage patterns Reviewing pumping regimes and pump performance Review and report on performance of contractors KPIs e.g. repair teams Provision of data analysis for reports for wider O&M team Production of regular NRW, leakage and water balance calculations Review regular survey data for anomalies and quality control Report on asset sensor failures to relevant departments and monitor the maintenance of sensors Review database of key monitoring assets ensuring calibration and verification is carried out regularly Operate water network management software & GIS Comply with QHSE standards and security procedures Compliance with company’s policies and vision Education & Experience Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in relevant area and technical training Minimum 5 years of experience in a water networks data management or analysis role for a wide range of water network operational assets Knowledge and experience of water asset operational data, network modelling leakage management and reporting techniques Knowledge of different types of water operational data and analysis techniques for use in the operations of water network assets Understanding of DMA/DMZ setup and NRW/Water Balance/Leakage Calculations Knowledge of water quality data analysis and operating parameter limits Experience in a dynamic complex commercial organization, engaged in multiple simultaneous projects Ability to provide detailed technical assessments, recommendations and influence people at all levels Innovative approach, eager to challenge the status quo Ability to focus on short- and long-term strategic objectives Business Communications: Use the right language, tone, and storytelling techniques when communicating, describing, or explaining issues over email, chat, reports, presentations, and other forms and channels of communication Decision-Making: Make prompt, informed, and fact-based decisions for the good of the project Accountability: Embrace ownership of and accountability for the activities
