Our ClientA large scale real estate development project in Saudi Arabia have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Management Lead to join their team.ResponsibilitiesDeliver and improve upon the goals and objectives for data management, being accountable for meeting performance targets for visible and practical maturity improvementDrive, evangelise and influence the creation of data ownership, stewardship and management of data across the organization. Identify, lead and establish data domains, data boards, steering boards and working groups as appropriate e.g. Data Standards, Data Stewards, Data Champions, BI & Analytics etcAnalyse, define and implement all necessary data directives including regulation, policies, procedures, data governance and data quality frameworks and data standardsGovern the process creating, acquiring and disposing of data in a secure and irreversible wayOversea data sharing and contractual agreements with external partiesLead in the procurement, implementation and business integration of data governance and metadata tooling and how it operates with regards to other architecture (Mavem, Orbis) and modelling (Erwin) tools. Become a champion for good metadata management, helping both technical and non-technical stakeholder define, document and understand their data. QualificationsMaster’s degree in business or technical field. Minimum 10+ years in data management roles – desirable setting up new data officeDifferent data governance approaches e.g. Non-Invasive Data GovernanceWater, utilities and/or energy sector, desirable working with reference models and international standardsData warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platformData Architecture and Data Governance tools e.g. Sparx, Erwin, ERStudio, PowerDesigner, Axon, EDC, Collibra, Alation etc. Agile and how this applies to data managementStrong knowledge of and across all data capabilities and processes including data quality, metadata, data security, data privacyPractical knowledge of industry frameworks and their use e.g. DAMA DMBoK, CMMI DMM, IFW, DCAMUnderstanding of semantic ontologies is a plusHalian GroupWith over 20 years of experience, we have come to understand that innovation is the only way to provide agile, practical solutions that transform businesses and careers.Our resourcing and smart services help you to realize tomorrow’s potential.
