A world without waste.The Opportunity – Environmental Engineer – Umluj, Tabuk, Red Sea Project, Saudi Arabia· Institutionalize and disseminate the environmental, waste management facility and landfills knowledge.· Perform quality assurance and monitoring on related systems · Provide technical support and improvements with regards to environmental and waste management.· Comply with health, safety, and environment policy.· Aspect/Impact Risk Management (mandatory)· Knowledge management & advisory network · Act as the principal point of advice in relation to all matters concerning the environmental performance of the Project. · Ensure environmental risks of the Project are identified and appropriate mitigation measures are established.· Implement and update the approved OESMP and the management plans.· Coordinate and lead the Environmental Meetings. · Conduct and coordinate Facility inspections. · Ensure that all the personnel within their organization are adequately trained and informed about their environmental responsibilities.· Ensure that equipment and machinery are kept efficient and regularly maintained including monitoring equipment.· Ensure that all significant impacts are monitored and that mitigation measures are effective. · Participate in the environmental incident’s investigations.· Ensure that all monitoring data, reports, audits and records are properly maintained.· Ensure the participation and consultation of workers in environmental incidents investigation and corrective actions.· Ensure that client and national environmental standards are implemented.QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Industrial or related)Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field Advanced proficiency in MS Excel Knowledge Ability to develop great working relationships with management teams, business units and clientsExtensive knowledge in Waste management facility, landfill and environmental processesLanguage Proficiency English (fluent)
