Executive Director – Development

Job Purpose: It will lead, manage and coordinate the efforts of the Land Development team and third-party consultants. Have insight into the intricate operations and execution of real estate development projects. Responsible for leading, managing, designing, and shaping real estate communities/projects from initiation to completion.This key team member and leader will oversee all Land Development related activities & professionals within the department. Oversight will include the full scope of land development covering pre-acquisition analysis/budgeting/site planning/due diligence, rezoning, entitlements, site development, overall project execution/deliveries of relevant development, and strategic initiatives.Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Conduct due diligence and feasibility study for acquiring new development propertiesReviewing official plans, zoning, urban design etcAbility to underwrite, design and plan new communities with architects and other building consultants to ensure successful and profitable projectsCreate and track master project schedule and track budgets monthly to ensure accuracy in billing and progressWork with Marketing, Sales, Construction and Finance teams to execute on projects from inception to completionAttend site visits and meetingsRequests, reviews and analyzes consultant proposalsDevelop, monitor and update project schedules and budgets for submissionCoordinate and manage the project consultant team to submit applications on time and budgetNavigate and obtain approvals such as Amendments, Zoning Amendments etcReview, assess, and comment on all reports and plans for development application submissionManage day-to-day project issues with the ability to Identify and resolve any issues and conflicts related to the projectProactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plansCommunicates and maintains a positive attitude with customers, consultant suppliers and employeesObtain development application approval and clearing conditions to achieve registrationDevelop and maintain relationships with municipal, regional and conservation authority staffMonitor and stay current on industry related issues and attend industry related conferences and eventsConduct field inspections, investigate project concerns, and organize on-site meetings to evaluate and solve site issuesQualificationsBachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, or any relevant degree. Minimum 15 years experience in real estate development managementPreviously worked with a real estate company is a plusWilling to work in Riyadh, KSA
