FEMALE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT FOR AN ACCOUNTING FIRM IN DUBAIKEY SKILLS:• Must have Bachelor’s Degree or Professional License (CPA, CMA, ACCA, AICPA)• Must have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role based in the UAE• Strong working knowledge of Zoho books (preferably) or other online system• Sound knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles (GAAP/IFRS)• Experience with creating financial statements• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process• Accuracy and attention to detail• Pro-active mentality• Strong ability in English writing and help with word processing when necessaryFULL JOB DESCRIPTION:• Performing admin tasks such as answering enquiries and resolving issues from clients by phone and email• Reconciling the company’s bank statements• Monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable• Preparing invoices, statements of accounts and recording of supplier invoices• Analyze all transactions, prepare journal entries and maintain the ledger• Preparing of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss statement, and other reports monthly, quarterly and annually• Filing of VAT Return as per UAE Law• Coordinating and Assisting the External Auditor
