Job Summary Responsible for the financial health of a company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term Duties & Responsibilities• Follow up for LCs suppliers and customers.• Review bank statement and follow up for refinancing of LCs with bank.• Prepare cash & bank status report for management.• Prepare list of payments for management.• Ensure that the trial balance is reviewed every month for any anomalies and unusual balances to ensure timely identification of any problems.• Ensure that the postings in trial balance reflects genuine business reasons and are in strict accordance with the management directives and company policies.• Responsible to perform monthly closing of ERP – (Refer to the closing procedures guide)• Ensure that the following reconciliations between GL & ERP submodule are prepared, reviewed and reconciling items are resolved.• Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll. In short, all submodules in ERP should reconcile with GL balances in trial balance.• Ensure all the closing procedures are applied by other departments and close the ERP module every month. (refer to the closing procedures relating to the ERP)• Ensure that Customer statements are sent out every quarter.• Ensure that the Accounts payable balances are reconciled with supplier statements every quarter, except material accounts payable which are supposed to be reconciled every month, example SABIC, TASNEE,• Ensure that the current account with partners and affiliates are reconciled and all the reconciling items (Differences) are resolved every month.• Ensure that the production records are reconciled between GL & ERP submodule.• Review all payment voucher, receipt voucher, journal voucher and all other JVs posted by accountants. • Ensure that all the payments are made only in accordance with the management approval and company policy.• Ensure that all bank accounts are reconciled every month and the reports are prepared for management.• Ensure the monthly and daily reporting needs of the management are fulfilled.• Ensure that the monies are collected from customers and follow up with customers by Sales team for any delayed payments are made in timely manner.• Prepare cash flow statement for presentation.• Ensure the Monthly payroll calculation with HR Department and comparison with last Month, and control on any increment with proper procedure• Ensure the booking of end of service benefit .• Perform Ensure smooth coordination with auditors and timely completion of audit every year. work for SIDF audit and other requirements.• Ensure smooth coordination with auditors and timely completion of audit every year.• Review LC documents customer & suppliers, as prepared by General accountant.• Any other adhoc reporting required as per management’s directive.
