Fruit / Vegetable Products Sales

We are seeking a salesperson with experience in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable sector within the Middle East market, to join its highly experienced international team. Taking the lead in sales of fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables like apples and products such as – chips, juices, and purees.Key Responsibilities:• Acquire new key accounts in the retail, distributor, catering, airlines, and hospitality sectors in the Middle East.• Build and expand existing GCC business accounts• Achieve retail & food service sales volume, revenue, and profitability goals for the assigned territories• Provide market-leading customer service• Monitor and report on competitive activity• Achieve top-line revenue and strategic product goals for assigned customers• Work closely with the Production and Procurement team to meet the customer’s needs along with the required specifications• Conduct regular market surveys to collect product information (competitive Prices – required specifications – required products)• Maintain a database of customers and make daily entries of activities on the system and follow-up needed to increase sales and customer satisfaction.• Provide the management and concerned departments with the required sales reports/data• Maintain the relationship with customers and work on adding new onesRequirements: Work experience and knowledge of the market of at least 3 years, presence of clients at vegetable markets, preferably also among online sellers, e.g. Kibsons. Knowledge of the market of apples and products such as – chips, juices, and purees. Minimum of 3 years of selling experience within the Fruit and Vegetable sector in the Middle East market (and beyond would be an advantage) A valid UAE driver’s license is a must Currently living in the UAE An existing extensive network of customers Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related courses At least 5 years of experience with agriculture background sales in the UAE market Sales experience in handling fresh fruits and vegetables is a must Ability to work independently and deliver results Excellent English is spoken, plus Arabic would be a bonus. Good communication skills Organizational skills Computer skills Fully aware of the types/specifications of the vegetable and fruit products Has a good client databaserelationship (Super Markets – Restaurants – Catering companies – Hotels) Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and computer/ presentation skills are required Open to immediate joinersSkillsDirect Sales, Client Management Skills, Product Knowledge, UAE Driving License
