At HALA, a Government Relations Specialist’s main responsibility is to manage and handle all operations and government related issues in HALA.Also He/she is Responsible in undertaking standardized government offices document processing routines, exchanging information, preparing technically more demanding documents by performing full clerical, administrative and general duties involving government bodies. He/she should compile and maintain personnel records and implement personnel actions regarding attendance, leaves, vacations, salaries and benefits, and ensure to keep these records of all personal data in confidence and in a proper manner using the System within the Organizational policies and procedures.Responsibilities● Responsible for all Government Relations Procedures (Change of Sponsorship, Issuance of new Iqama’s, Renewal of Iqama’s, Iqama Transfers, processing Visa documents, Exit Reentry Visa, Final Exit Visa etc.) Prepares the documents for the Iqama Renewals, Change of Sponsorship, LOI Etc.● Update employee information (Iqama, Passport, Saudi ID Cards, Driving License, etc.) in the System and record the hard copies in the personal files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.● Responsible for MOL – electronic system / Nitaqat process (Saudization Percentage) , MOQEEM MOI electronic system , MOFA E- System, GOSI E –System ● Examine employee information in the System and personal files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons.● Report any work injury to GOSI online within 72 hours of injury. Update GOSI status for monthly payment.● Prepare Letters as per the employee request and as per the company policy.● Fill all forms as required by government entities.● Processes all applications for visas, work permits, residence permits, identity cards, etc. of employees.● Developing excellent relations with all Government Offices.● Controlling the In & Out of documents, Passports and generate weekly Task Reports● Proactive and advance notification about any changes in government rules & regulations● Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the daily work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner● Contribute to preparing timely and accurate reports that concern the line of work to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards.● Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.● Provide reports to management in clean, and clear format whenever needed. QualificationsBA/BS degree in Business Administration or Human Resources2 – 4 years of experience in Government Relations.Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasksOutstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plusGood knowledge of employment/labor laws
