HEAD, REWARDS & COMPENSATION

Summary:Plans, directs, organizes and coordinates the overall activities and functions of Rewards &Compensation as well its assigned services functions to achieve its mission, goals and objectives in line with Organization’s strategy to attract, retain and motivate talented employees and to enhance its existing systems, process, and productivity.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:1- Develops, implements, continuously monitors and updates as necessary the Department’s goals, objectives, policies and procedures and other official documents.2- Provides advice and expertise to Organization’s entities in all matters related to Rewards &Compensation.3- Provides analytical support to all matters related to Rewards& Compensation by conducting salary surveys, interpreting and analysing salary data.4- Facilitates the ongoing management and integrity of the Organization’s compensation programs by acting as a consultant and advisor to line management.5- Ensures that Organization’s compensation programs are compliant with related legislation and governmental mandates.6- Develops salary and rewards structures that attract and retain talented employees for leading and hard to fill positions. Designs and integrates strategic approaches to motivate employees.7- Provides statistical analysis, data modelling, related rewards& compensation techniques as well as costing structures for management information and action.8- Provides support and consultation to Human Capital departments in the interpretation of Rewards & Compensation practices and guidelines, and supporting data for annual salary review process.9- Assists in the execution and administration of Rewards & Compensation processes to ensure equitable and effective standards are achieved in line with established policies.10- Assigns work, establishes priorities, monitors performance and submits periodical clear and concise administrative and financial reports for all assigned services/functions.11- Participates in selecting, recruiting, training, retaining, and evaluating assigned personnel. and maintains a positive working environment to implement policies, correct deficiencies and implements discipline procedures. Delegates authorities, and establishes and maintains a formal means of accountability on the part of subordinates.Education Requirements: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or other related discipline is required. Experience Required:At least nine (9) years with Master’s, or eleven (11) years with Bachelor’s Degree of related Compensation and Benefits/Rewards or Human Resources Development experience including four (4)years in a senior or supervisory capacity is requiredExtra RequirementsCertified Human Resources Programs and/or Professional (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, HCI) or any equivalent certificates is preferred.Strong leadership skills and proven ability to drive organizational change.
