Conduct thorough risk assessments to prevent accidents, injuries, and incidents.Ensuring that all construction activities adhere to relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and standards. Regularly review and update procedures to maintain compliance.Organizing training programs to educate employees, contractors, and stakeholders about safety protocols, hazard identification, and emergency response procedures.Conducting regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, monitor adherence to safety protocols, and address any violations promptly.Developing and implement procedures for reporting and investigating incidents and accidents. Analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent similar incidents in the future.Developing and communicating emergency response plans for various scenarios, ensuring that all employees are aware of evacuation procedures and emergency contact information.Ensuring that appropriate personal protective equipment is provided and used by all workers in accordance with the nature of the tasks and potential hazards.Promoting a culture of safety by fostering open communication about health and safety matters among all levels of the organization.Working closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure that they adhere to the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.Maintaining accurate records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, inspections, and other relevant documentation.Regularly reviewing and updating health and safety policies and procedures based on lessons learned, industry trends, and feedback from employees and stakeholders.Conducting periodic safety audits to assess the effectiveness of the health and safety program and identify areas for improvement.Interacting with regulatory agencies and local authorities to ensure that the company’s construction sites meet all necessary health and safety requirements.Organizing regular safety meetings or “toolbox talks” to discuss specific safety topics, share insights, and address concerns raised by workers.Ensuring that incidents are reported promptly, investigated thoroughly, and documented accurately. Promoting a strong safety culture by encouraging employees to actively participate in safety initiatives, reporting unsafe conditions, and suggesting improvements.What They Expect From YouBachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or a related field.15+ years of experience in health and safety management in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.Proven ability to develop and implement effective health and safety programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
