Requirement: Bachelor or Masters in Commerce Preference will be (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIA).5 – 7 years experience in Internal Audit Department (preferably in Restaurant Chain or Food & Beverage Industry only)Key Skills:Sound independent judgement skills.The ability to use own initiative.The ability to work effectively as independently and/or with minimum supervision.Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.The ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – English/Arabic.Demonstrated job commitment and personal flexibility to meet changing expectations.Responsibilities:Determine compliance with policies and procedures.Determining the internal audit scope and developing the detailed risk-based audit programs in conjunction with the Audit Manager.Conducting operations audits entity wide.Perform daily audit of store cash & inventory report to ensure the accuracy as per the checklist.Collating, checking and analyzing the data to detect deficient controls, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.Review the store general ambience, maintenance issues and other cash handling control as per the checklist.Checking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable, in stores.Gauging levels of financial risk within stores.Preparation of a concise and informative audit report to effectively communicate the findings and recommendations to the branch/department and senior management.Report to management about the utilization and audit results and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.Develop and implement new methods to streamline and optimize the audit process and operations.Provide value-added advice and support to business partners on the creation or modification of policies, procedures, processes, products or services to ensure an appropriate level of internal control and compliance is maintained to address control weaknesses and/or process inefficiencies.Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
