1- Job Purpose To manage and ensure the establishment and maintain a relationship between IT and the business, and to increase the value realized from IT assets and capabilities. The role is responsible for understanding the business strategy, analyzing business processes; eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Functional Responsibilities2- Key Duties and Responsibilities 1 Ensure the development and manage the relationship between IT and internal and external partners (business units, service providers). 2 Ensure the develop technology strategies that align with the overall business strategy. 3 Drive Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiations to enhance value to the business. 4 Ensure the business units understand the technology solution, overall solution delivery, and compliance to governance processes, etc. 5 Ensure the work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize requirements (within projects on applications) 6 Work closely with business to understand business strategy, Interacts on a regular basis with business leadership to ensure needs are understood and IT updates are communicated on a consistent basis. 7 Responsible for compliance with RCU applicable and Divisional policies and procedures. 8 Provides regular status reporting and business insight to IT Leadership. 9 Oversee, review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes. Managerial Responsibilities1 Provide input to the sector’s strategy from the Department’s or Section’s perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission. 2 Develop the Department’s or Section’s objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets. 3 Contribute to the preparation of the Department’s or Section’s annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section. 4 Implement and execute the Department’s or Section’s policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored. 5 Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director. Job Description3- Job Requirements Academic QualificationsBachelor Degree in Information technology or relevant filed. (Masters Preferred) Work Experience6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role. Other RequirementsWritten and Oral proficiency of English language.
