IT Planning and Control Manager

Objectives:Supervise and drive the preparation of the overall budget for the ITO division and undertake planning and management responsibilities for future projects including the construction of project RFP and budgetary planning.Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the IT Planning and Budget Control unit tasks including planning, budget evaluation, and reporting.Review and prepare recommendations to maintain overall budget balance and suggest appropriate budget adjustments.Build and strengthen relationships and be able to negotiate with external partners and service providers in order to deliver the best possible services and offerings.Develop internal budget management and plans and update the plan in accordance with any project and budget changes and share periodic reports with senior management.Compiles and organizes projected budget estimates for different departments’ projects in ITO and thoroughly examines them for validity, accuracy and completeness.Comply with the approved policy of budgeting regarding the deadlines and the management of the budgeting process.Receiving the budget estimates from all the departments of the organization and critically examines them for correctness, accuracy and completeness; and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.Work with procurement and Vendor management on relevant contracts.Provide comprehensive planning, by assisting with the overall business and technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs for present and future.Analyze business requirements to identify where they can integrate new hardware, operating systems, or connectivity solutions.Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant field.At least 5 years of experience in a similar field.Should carry excellent communication and facilitation skills.Leadership skills.Should have a very good understanding of system development life cycle, process and stages.Expert working knowledge of ITIL / PMP / TOGAF.Preferably certified in ITIL and PMP.
