Primary objective:To support the principal in all administrative aspects of school life and operations. Ensure that the office operates smoothly and efficiently. Organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.Areas of responsibility:offer day to day support to the principal as required at the timearrange the principal’s calendarrun the isams daily attendance reporttrack and record students absencestrack and record student departuresplace school orders, track and follow up on purchasing requestsraise quotations/invoicesensure that all items are invoiced and paid on timeoversee the textbook system (quantities needed, quantities received, stock)ensure the smooth logistical arrangements of school eventsliaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security servicesoversee the printing and safe storage of school certificatesoversee the organisation of students filesmanage the academic calendarsmanage the weekly principal letterwork closely with marketing department to ensure accurate and professional communicationprocess translation requestsorganise the weekly noticesattend slta meetings and record the agenda itemsschedule meetings and appointmentsprovide general support to visitorsfacilitate communication between departmentsline Manages administrative staff as determined by the principal.Safeguarding:the post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.Suitable qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (essential).Desirable experience:3 years’ experience in a similar role.Skills, knowledge and abilities:fluency in spoken English and Arabic is essential to this roleability to build effective working relationshipsability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility.ability to organise, plan and prioritise effectivelydata analysis skillsit proficiency including microsoft office and google suiteable to work under pressure and prioritise effectivelyexperience in engaging with parent body.
