• Source of new and/or potential vendors/suppliers of various materials intended for different materials. • Review/prepare comparative analysis and evaluation of quotations from suppliers• Negotiate contract terms of agreement, pricing, shipment and delivery.• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.• Review quality of purchased products.• Prepare reports on purchases; including cost analysis.• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.• Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
