Product Manager (Solar & Power)

You will be accountable for driving sales of assigned products through a well-defined strategy and developing sound partnerships with existing and potential vendors. Also, works towards optimizing sales volumes, maintaining vendor relations, acquiring new partnerships and coordinating marketing programs and activities, in addition to conducting site inspection, evaluation and later supervision on installation and commissioning of the supplied solar / renewable systems. Responsibilities:Technical and OperationsDefine the product strategy and roadmap on the assigned product line;Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities;Work closely with the Sales team to map and develop the right channel for the product;Specify market requirements for current and future product(s) by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to potential and existing customers;Lead the vendors’ relations in alignment with the company’s strategy;Identify potential partners for the product(s);Provide and manage complex quotations, present the required ROI calculations, system outputs and related technical documents;Ensure a proper storage, tracking and control of inventory through an accurate stock management system;Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities involving the sales;Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives; Ensure the highest level of support and engagement with channel partners and respond in a timely manner with appropriate resources in order to meet customers’ needs;Help build a solid channel/customer database and increase the number of customers; Maintain and increase sales for the entire product line to generate long term revenue and profitability;Promote the product(s) and the company within the region;Talent DevelopmentLead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership;Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan;Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs and oversee development plans.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any other related fieldProven successful sales / project implementation recordShould have solar PV qualification certificatesAt least 5 years of relevant experience
