Primary objective:The receptionist’s primary responsibility is to act as the initial point of contact for telephone callers and visitors, providing administrative support to the office team. They make the safeguarding and well-being of all students their number one priority and follow the school’s statutory policies.Areas of responsibility:answer incoming telephone calls courteously and put them through to the requested staff members or the appropriate staff according to the assistance required by the callersreceive and greet visitors to the school warmly and provide them with the appropriate information and assistancebe aware of and effectively implement emergency and evacuation procedures as requiredbe fully aware of the school’s Health and Safety policiesmanage the accurate collation of attendance records on iSAMSmanage the accurate input of information onto the Noor systemprovide administrative support to the School office undertake any other reasonable requests by the Principal or other Line ManagerSafeguarding:the post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and well-being of all students at the school.Suitable qualifications:Diploma degree (essential)Desirable experience:2 years experience in a similar role.Skills, knowledge, and abilities:fluency in spoken English and Arabic is essential to this roleability to build effective working relationshipsability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility.ability to organize, plan and prioritize effectivelydata analysis skillsIT proficiency including Microsoft Office and Google Suiteable to work under pressure and prioritize effectivelyexperience in engaging with the parent body
