Job Description:Road Operation and Maintenace Manager working closely with engineers and architects to develop plans, establish timetables. Also, responsible to manage subcontractors and employees, gather permits, and ensure all aspects of the project are up to code. The main responsibilities are overall project planning, distributing resources, time management, risk management, creating benchmarks and managing relationships with key stakeholdersResponsibilities: Technical support during construction worksAttendance to internal project review meetingsAttendance to meetings with clients together with Project ManagerReports progress on project activities to Project ManagerEstimate duration, propose, and agree on deadlines with Project Manager Perform department internal quality checks for documents Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.Plans and schedules all road maintenance activities including emergency response. Determines project elements including labor, equipment, and supply needs. Dispatches maintenance, repair, and operationSupervises, plans, directs and organizes crew workloads and assignments, reviews progress, directs changes in priorities and schedules as needed to assure work is performed in a timely and efficient manner according to appropriate guidelines, procedures and legal regulations.Sets operational priorities, goals, objectives, and develops short- and long-term schedules for maintenance and day labor projects.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) 10+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required.
