Also to help Saudi’s passionate gaming sector to develop homegrown IP and more broadly, make KSA a global hub for gaming.As part of the SGS team, you will work alongside the best global gaming talents who have relocated to Riyadh to be part of the ambitious group, and innovative, passionate and hardworking Saudis.SGS is Looking for a Senior 3D Animator to deliver High-quality animations for the games; As an Animator, you would work closely with the Art, Design, Tech, and Dev team to create high-quality game Animations and videos.Key Responsibilities:Understand the Features and Events of the game and should be able to ideate meaningful animations, which will support the game design, UX, and interaction design.Able to communicate Feature Flow and Storytelling with Visuals and Great Animations.Able to work in Any style of Animation (Cartoony, wonky, Snappy, limited, or any other)Fundamental understanding of Animation principles, Rigging, Bones, and graph editor.Proficient with Acting and Optimization in Animation (Bones count, Number of frames limitation, Animation library creation, etc.)Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, MotionBuilder, Unity 3D).2D animation will be a plus too.Create and manage Documentation for Animation, Rigging, and VFX.Knowledge of Unity or Unreal should be able to integrate the assets in the game engine.Deep understanding of Animation principles such as ‘timing,’ ‘weight,’ Follow Through, Motion and Acting.Good understanding of human and animal body mechanics and anatomy. (Biped and Quadruped Animation.Solving problems by Providing Solutions and participating in game Animation creativity that enhances the quality of the features and supports game developmentPlanned, delivered, documented, and adjust/improve, complex animation motion graphs, to produce fluid in-game animation.Qualifications and Key Skills:Minimum 4 years of experience in Game Animations, should work on at least 2-3 Published game titles as an Animator. Excellent Showreel.Track record of working as a 3D Animator on a mobile/Console game.Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine and can support the Animation integration pipeline for Game and UI animation and can work on solving the related Bugs.Experience in optimizing Animations with frame rate and Bones count.Experience in Rigging and Skinning.Should be able to work on the VFX in Maya, Max, or Unity.Good Artistic skills Should be able to draw thumbnail sketches or key poses for the scene before animating into 3D software.Able to work on Storyboard for the Game prototypes, Features Flow, or Game TrailersAble to guide and supervise juniors for better Animation quality and Workflow.Participate in reviews; respond to critical feedback professionally and contribute feedback to your peers.Demonstrate expert understanding of how animation supports gameplay and narrative with the ability to communicate these links to the team.Passionate about – and have good knowledge of animation, art, and culture.A genuine passion for games and animation.Motivated, goal-oriented, strong team player.Let’s bring together Savvy Games Studios to the world!
