Senior Account Executive

PURPOSE OF WORKProvide support to Brand Integration department through effective and efficient management of daily operational activitiesREGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES:Account management and client servicing – managing entire accounts, arranging briefing sessions and maintaining good relationships with clients as well as production.Working closely with Commercial Manager to deliver contractual deliverables through liaising with different departments and carefully checking content before it airs to make sure it meets contractual terms.Keeping the Commercial Manager in the loop of any official communication internal or external that is related to clients.Ability to manage time and work under pressure in an organized manner.Taking full responsibility for any communication with clients or production, by documenting correspondence through emails looping in Commercial Manager.Compiling “proof of airing” or collecting recordings of contractual deliverables that have aired (segments/episodes) or on radio (interviews/segments/) or online (posts) in order to share with the client.Preparing status reports for ongoing client/project (for both client communication and internal purposes)Brainstorm with Commercial Manager to construct proposals or develop new ideas that cater to a specific client.Ability to work independently and set their own pace to meet targets and goals.Should have a pleasant demeanor when meeting or speaking with clients and remember at all times that they represent the Group.Team spirit and positive attitude to the commercial team in the coordination with various departments if needed.Being self-driven and motivated during less busy periods to want to learn about MBC and our channels/content by researching independently and talking to different departments.Educational Requirements or Equivalent:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentYear of ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in client servicing/account management; TV-media background and stakeholder (client) handling experience is PLUS and Preferred.Specialized Knowledge:Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic skills.Excellent in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, excel and word)Strong customer / account service skillsRelationship builder (internal and external)Presentation skillsWorking Knowledge to be Acquired on the job: Ability to travel to KSA and regionally when requiredAbility to work flexible hours to meet with clients on weekends/after business hours.Ability to deal with the stress of changing deadlines, requirements and pressure from their superiors and clients in meeting these goals.Ability to see past objections to find solutions.On-ground situation ownership and handling; with instant/up-to-date/real-time reporting to Management followed by e-mail recaps to relevant stakeholder(s).
