Senior Accountant

We, a fast growing multinational Dubai Construction company are looking for Senior Accountant . Job duties include managing the records of all incomes, expenses, financial transactions, cash flow records, bank deposits, VAT filings, and corporate tax activities.You will also be required to perform internal audits, and coordinate statutory audits. Preparation of financial documents including regular performance statements and financial reports will be required.You will be responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, preparing monthly payroll, bank reconciliation, calculating tax payments and returns, etc.Will be required to regularly provide accurate information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of the business, and prepare monthly and quarterly management reports reflecting the state of the business.Accountant should also be familiar with IFRS standards and reporting procedures.Accountant should be able to create the following:1-Balance sheet2-Cash Flow statement3- P&L4-Trial balance5-VAT returns6-Bank reconciliationsQualifications:• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field• Relevant certification (e.g., CA/CMA/CFA) will be preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, or audit experience.• Familiarity with UAE accounting and tax regulations, and VAT filingprocedures.• Proficiency in information systems, accounting software and Microsoft Office.
