Senior Estimation Engineer

Position: Senior Estimation EngineerRequired for: A leading Engineering and Construction Company in the Saudi Arabia.Qualification: BE / B Tech Mechanical with minimum 6 years of experienceLocation: Saudi Arabia, Al Khobar City  Responsibilities:(1) Review instructions to Bidders (ITB) documents, understanding, analyzing, and accurately assessing allITB requirements for construction projects and EPC projects(2) Liaison with internal departments (Engineering, Sales, Planning, HSE and Quality Control) to ensure that allrelevant input and successful bid planning.(3) Prepare a compliance sheet with ITB requirements.(4) Lead the communication and coordinate with sub-vendors required to develop the bid such as suppliersand subcontractors whenever applicable(5) Coordinate with sales team to issue appropriate technical and commercial clarification to client.(6) Preparation of BOM, calculating the man‐hours and preparation of cost sheet.(7) Evaluate the required resources Manpower, Equipment, Tools & Consumables etc.(8) Determining the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.(9) Co‐ordination, preparation, and compilation of complete proposal documentation, both technical &commercial.(10) Preparation of the required technical documents like manpower & equipment deployment plan, executionstrategy, high level time schedule, organization chart, method statement, compiling of HSE & Qualitydocuments.(11) After award of project, coordinate with Sales team to prepare handover report with all relevant and updatedcorrespondence to project management team and attend Internal Project Kick off meeting.(12) Regularly reporting to Management.(13) Keeping track of the latest estimating updates, technology, and industry-related techniques. Requirements:(1) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering(2) Minimum 6 years of experience in Estimation/Proposal preparation and management in the constructionfield.(3) Awareness of market rates(4) Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.(5) Brilliant management and negotiation skills.(6) Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.(7) Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.(8) Excellent command in English Language.
