Job Purpose:To assist in monitoring project progress and managing project schedule, ensuring that project implementation is progressing according to plan and that the development and construction aspects are aligned with The Red Sea Development Company’s (TRSDC) business objectives and requirementsStrategic ContributionEnsure that the strategic agenda of the Planning function is translated into operational business plans and monitor the performance and execution of those plans in order to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.Schedule ManagementEstablish the Work Breakdown Structure during the implementation of the project baseline schedule by deconstructing the project scope statement to more manageable pieces to include all work package levels.Develop and maintain baseline schedules of projects in line with the proposal requirements and the company strategies through the application of the Primavera P6 software. Perform resource planning/loading/allocations and prepare the required manpower and construction equipment histograms. Prepare the daily, weekly and monthly work progress reports and S-curves based on the agreed progress measurement methods and updated schedule.Review and manage the schedules and work performance of consultants and contractors.Prepare project schedule monitoring layouts and reports, and update and analyze the project status.Assist in developing interface management plan by studying, analyzing and identifying connections between consultants, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers in order to help avoid any conflicts that may arise through lack of coordination.Identify the critical paths of the project schedule and prepare preventive action plan to avoid any slippage of critical activities.Follow up on the project at all stages and record the dates, durations, productivity and earned value, and update the project schedule to determine and analyze the variance between the target plan and the actual.Prepare the delay analysis report and recommended corrective actions to avoid delays.Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and ReportsFollow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards.Safety, Quality & EnvironmentApply safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.Qualification and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
