Technical Project Manager

Prepare applied research project plans and coordinate project activities from planning to implementation to close. Maintain matrix for process improvements.Coordinate project schedule and task details and help to prepare reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling.Manage risk, customer relationships, technical & financial resources and project management staff.Interface with external vendors/suppliers and monitor and report on the projects progress against quality and cost metrics.Interface with customers & stakeholders and report on progress against project objectives.Solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.Demonstrable experience and track record of gap analysis in IT project strategy, design management and execution.Manage project activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.Experience in startups (local and international)Collaborate with relevant staff members and leaders to identify required projects and initiatives that support the achievement of vision.Support in implementation and enhancement of general purpose AI & robotics strategy to ensure a strategic and comprehensive delivery of expert services, systems and outcomes in support of vision.Advise on IP strategy in jurisdictions relating to USA and Saudi Arabia with referential considerations to UK leading patent law and best practice.Demonstrable experience with seed, A,B,C series funding (considered a strong asset).Help instill a culture of development, guidance and performance within Emerging Tech & Innovation team.Take responsibility, in collaboration with Head of Emerging Tech & Innovation for building and maintaining a high-performance team. Participate in setting performance requirements and recruiting for key positions across ETI.Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise staff and provide regular feedback on performance.Experience with surge capacity, resource scaling (considered an asset) QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelor’s Post graduate degree is a minimum requirement (extensive demonstrable experience may be considered in lieu)10+ years of project management experienceAbility to take requirements from design through to implementation.Have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical issues effectively and appropriately for a wide range of audiencesProfessional fluency in English (minimum requirement), additional similar fluency in Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, German (considered an asset)Familiar with Machine Learning, Robotics, and other emerging technologiesEntrepreneurial mindset with a wide range of skillsFamiliar with programming languages and libraries, such as Python, C/C++, ROSHave experience in technical proposal writingAdditional nationality enabling short notice required travel (considered an asset)Experience in East Asian leading technology market(s) (considered an asset)
