Aqualia needs to incorporate a Training and Development Director with a high level of English for a highly relevant project for water management in Saudi Arabia.The Training and Development Director originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.Training and Development Director It´s responsible for ensuring that the overall administration,coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized.Responsibilities• Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to Cluster Team personnel training.• Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department• Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems regarding Talent Acquisition and Training Plan.• Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to companypersonnel. Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department• Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems• Developing, analysing and updating the Cluster Personnel’s evaluation program• Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures• Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures• Working under Resources and Administration Department. Directly reports to General Director of the Cluster and assist by/for HR Director.• Ensures compliance and adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements in obtainingemployee’s visas and contracts.• Performs all duties according to Company Policies and Procedures• Adheres to the company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures.Functions• Provides day to day support of the Resources and Administration Department and being aware of priorities for action.• Takes action on correspondence (emails, letters, messages, memos) and information received.• Forwards received emails, letters, messages, information to the Contract Manager.• Relays information to all employees, for example, but not limited to general information like nonworking days/ holidays, government releases for compliance and any other information asbeneficial and applicable.• Provides and assists Human Resources functions in recruitment, hiring, training, dismissal and other HR activities and maintain its records.• Constantly update employment/ personnel files and other employees related records• Monitors/Coordinates with Timekeeper concerning employee’s daily attendance and consolidates the same for Finance Payroll input and record purposes.• Updates organizational chart and employees’ files.• Develops, accomplishes and supervises HR function.• Coordinates with company PRO regarding visa renewals and expiry.• Ensures timely recruitment of competent staff, with appropriate approvals, in order to meetbusiness needs.• Prepares and recommends criteria for salary adjustments, promotions and dismissal.• Prepares and submits Performance Appraisal form for the ready perusal of Department Heads and their Supervisors.• Assists Key Managers in providing them with a monthly report indicating total manpower.Requirements• Good understanding of management practices and techniques. Able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.• Strong human resource training expertise; ability to supervise, mentor and engage staff members and inspire credibility, confidence and build consensus• Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to provide leadership to a team and to work in a team environment, and project management experience.
