Warehouse Managers are generally responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. In addition, they are responsible for securing warehouse as well as supervising staff..Responsibilities Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork as a liaison between warehouse team and other functional areas to coordinate shipments, receipts, material movements and resolve any issues.Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with a data storage system.Ensure safety of staff and maintain a safe and clean working environment.Manage cycle counts and reconciliations.Schedule incoming and outgoing material to ensure deadlines are achieved.Direct oversight of shipping/receiving, warehousing, and material handling.Ensure all associates follow policies and procedures.Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performed.Perform standard work audits and update, as needed.Utilizes Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to monitor warehouse processes and provides input for continuous improvement activities.Conducting deliveries of expired medicines.Follow-up in the process of creating promotional offers for products nearing their expiration date.Participate with the marketing department in developing a plan for marketing products.Ensure that the correct information for the products is entered in the dashboard and in the approved program for pharmacies.Develop an action plan to facilitate the workflow and know the status of pharmacies during the coming years through the quantity of stock and how to manage it and request it from the purchasing department.Implementation and supervision of security operations.Managing warehouses strategically in accordance with the company’s policies and vision.Maintaining health, safety, hygiene and public security standards.Preparing the annual budget.Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and evaluate results.Regularly produce reports and statistics (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.).Carrying out other administrative tasks in the field of warehouses. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in PharmacyDiploma in management Certification Courses5 years’ of warehouse experienceProficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word)
