SummaryTo develop and deliver an ENOWA water audit programme to ensure compliance with internal processes & external regulations/legislation and to drive continuous improvement across the department.Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities Compliance Programme Design Design an annual audit plan that covers all functions and key business processes within Water and external processes undertaken by Water.Audit programme should cover operational, legal, regulatory areas.Ensure alignment with NEOM internal audit programmes and the NEOM GRC team requirements.Audit programme should be risk based and aligned with the ENOWA risk register. Compliance Programme Delivery Implement and deliver the audit plan for the water utility.Follow up audit findings to create improvement action plans & ensure a culture of continuous improvement is developed.Develop and implement a monitoring framework to measure departmental compliance with regulationsEnsure alignment of Asset Strategy and Standards with targeted customer service levels and ensure that the Project delivery process enables delivery of waters strategic objectives, customer objectives and within the agreed investment parameters. Compliance Reporting Develop and implement a Compliance reporting framework and governance processes to enable monthly internal and external reporting. Stakeholder Management Work across NEOWA Water to establish a joined up and agreed programme and culture of continuous improvement where audit and compliance is valued for the benefits it can provide.Work with the wider ENOWA (Energy) team to ensure consistency and alignment.Utilise and influence the corporate GRC frameworks and processes where appropriate.Collaborate with the Water Authority to ensure programme alignment with regulatory requirements.Liaise with other NEOM authority teams to ensure alignment where required.Ensure alignment with any other KSA regulatory bodies – Water Regulator, MEWA, NECC.Knowledge, Skills And E Xperience Minimum of 7 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management Strong continuous improvement mindset Familiar with design of audit programmes. Knowledge of different regional regulation & governance models eg Middle East (KSA, UAE) Financial skills Strong interpersonal, team and communication skills combined with a hands-on, can-do mentality Strong and positive relationships skills, influencing, and negotiation skills Strong presentation skills, presentation preparation and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree essential Masters Degree preferred
