Associate / Sr. Associate – Strategy & Planning

Role Summary:Deliver high-quality strategies and strategy assessments that address project objectives. Develop domain expertise on assigned transactions.Review the current list of strategies for the sector and support the development of new strategies while distilling lessons learned from strategic foresight reports in light of new trends.Key Activities:Manage the review process of sectoral and regional strategies, identify current gaps, and support strategy development by providing clear and practical assessments.Ensure alignment of strategies with Vision 2030.Ensure the appropriate procedures are adhered to for the review and approval of assigned strategies.Ensure the alignment of sectoral and regional strategies with the national vision and ongoing efforts at relevant stakeholders.Manage the process of collecting and analyzing inputs used to develop strategies from the relevant stakeholders.Manage the implementation of risk reduction plans identified in the risk register for each sector and escalate them to the strategic committee, as needed.Ensure reliability of information sources and document sources of inputs throughout all documents.Provide an audit trail for all developments within the transaction by documenting findings, stakeholders’ inputs, and expert insights.Compile and present information verbally, visually, and in writing.Minimum Education:Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent field.A Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum Experience:5+ years of related experience, including consulting companies, is a must and preferably a government entity’s experience.
