Engineer II, Mega Projects Job

An exciting opportunity is available for Engineer, Mega Projects Located in Jubail, KSAJob Purpose The project engineer will work and handle the day to day project activities, providing overall monitoring to project progress with involved contractors to ensure on project is completed on schedule, in a safe manner, within budget and up to related quality standards.Role responsibilities:Enforce compliance of the contractor’s safety program to achieve zero accidentsFull perception of contracting mythologies, types of project delivery methods and projects execution proceduresReview technical bids for specific projects and prepare Technical Evaluation ReportReview the plans and specifications for constructability, and construction schedules, milestonesPrepare Cost Estimation for the CAPEX projectsEstablish the punch list process and close out procedures and speed up project delivery to stakeholdersIdentifying risks/ requirements/ documents needed from owner side that are associated with project activities and reflect them in look-ahead schedulesSupervise execution activities on-site and provides day to day technical leadership to assigned projectsMonitors project performances, identifies improvement opportunities and take actions to mitigate potential risksResolve design clarifications and site conditions to facilitate project progress. This task requires interactions with other involved stakeholders.Plan and attend any task or meeting per the request of the direct superiors or based on the business needQualification and Requirements:Minimum 5 years of direct experience in executing projects, knowledge in project engineering related international standards Bachelor Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineer is preferable)
