(Global Petroleum Gas) Maintenance Planner

Serves as the Lead Planner for an Industrial Maintenance Division and supervises all Maintenance Planners. Acts as the Divisions expert on all matters related to maintenance work order planning, estimating and scheduling. Analyzes the current and future workload for the entire Division, area by area or unit by unit, and forecasts overall manpower requirements. Recommends the optimum manpower balance for daily and weekly scheduling in the Division. Analyzes and prepares organization daily/weekly schedules. The incumbent is responsible for supervising and coordinating all maintenance work planning and scheduling activities within an Industrial Maintenance Division and performing daily audits to ensure that This Company Maintenance Work Control System & GIs are implemented and consistently followed. Ensures that the Maintenance Planners assigned to him maintain all work order, history, and computerized maintenance systems data files current and accurate and that all required reports and monitoring charts are available. The incumbent ensures availability of all resources required are met and available, prior to scheduling work, and obtains approvals of the schedules, updates maintenance Orders statuses & follows up until completion of Orders and handles full planning of minor maintenance tickets (MMT).Duties & ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to perform the following:Division Level: Regularly to discuss maintenance priorities and work orders schedulingUnit Level: Regularly regarding status of work orders, scope and material requirementsOthers:Monthly basis with MSSD concerning status of work in progressSupervises all Maintenance Planners in the Division. Consolidates weekly, monthly and 20% yearly monitoring charts prepared by all Maintenance Planners into a Divisional Summary.Identifies all materials, tools, equipment’s, and special preparations required for each 20% job step. Retain a good knowledge of This Company Materials System on SAP, including use of the SAMS Catalog, requisitioning of SAMS stock items and Direct Charge materials 9COMs”.Prepares regular and special analyses of manpower and backlog data for the Superintendent 10% and recommends allocation of manpower resources to maintain the highest possible activity level in the Division while meeting Maintenance Goals.Reviews the Whole Job Standards (WJSs) for completeness, accuracy and applicability to 10% Divisions needs. Revises those WJSs which needs changes, and maintains an index of WJSs for the Division.Experts in the proper application of This Company Maintenance Work Control System and 10% applicable Computerized Maintenance System data files. Conducts periodic refresher training for all personnel with the use of these systems, and for all Trainees who have been assigned to maintenance planning.Keeps current with latest systems developments and to provide the Divisions input to the 10% Corporate policy-making process. Recommends corrective actions based on the indicators and coordinates productivity studies within the Division.Plans major jobs and develop critical path charts if required. Recommends contracting 10% action for supplementary manpower as deemed necessary.Generates SAP and Plant Maintenance Dash Board (PMDB) Reports for performance or tracking analysis.Provides maintenance performance monitoring data for his assigned area. Prepares Whole Job 10% Standards and reviews the log of existing Whole Job Standards for potential application to current work.
