The role holder is responsible for supporting the strategic digital transformation projects of SABB strategy and transformation through delivery of initiatives including but not limited to streamlining, automation and digitalization. The role holder will work with stakeholders, IT, Digital Office, Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of projects with the wider SABB strategy agenda. Core ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements strategic plans in line with the division’s objectives.Supports the development of the workforce plan for the division by providing inputs on own department’s workforce forecasts.Manages and controls the operating framework for the department, provides guidance and support, ensures implementation and review of work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement.Prepares and manages the annual budget for the department and reporting sections in conjunction with the division’s budget and secures subsequent approvals, tracks expenditure and ensures adherence to the budget.Develops, implements, and tracks the streamlining and digitalization road maps.Ensures successful engagement models with the Digital Office and ITPromotes and executes project plans to deliver the transformation strategyManages IT book of work to agreed ATP budgetsUpholds a log of simplification and digitalization requests, prioritizes and works with stakeholders to deliver the greatest possible improvement over time and within budgetDrives and tracks Customer Experience KPI improvements and implements customer surveysAssesses development and tracking of customer journey SLAs and KPIsGuides and tracks cost and time savingsEnsure risk mitigation be central to all initiatives. Actively raising MSIIs when necessary.Leads and oversight of design, configures and tests new processes and ensure that the same are incorporated in the application systems as per business requirementsLeads implementation of IT projects and ensures timely roll outOversees systems analysis in system design and proposes solution architecture.Assesses with vendors for product updates, new product evaluation, future expansion plans and scheduling cost and quality management during execution of project involving vendors.Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the department and provides mentoring for high potential talent in the team.Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the department.Develops talent within the department by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in any relevant major.Preferable to have qualifications in one or more of (Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile, Lite Automation).Preferred 10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a similar role.Prior experience of transformation in a similar industry.
